The reason it’s bad is that it validates our feel good factor each time we fill up our recycling bin. The reality is that most ‘recyclable’ products go unrecycled and end up elsewhere. What we need to collectively focus on is REDUCING our need for packaged products in the first place or find alternative ways to maintain our day-to-day habits.
