Whistler Peak Challenge

SINGLE PERSON: $299* ADULT: (Max. 2): $249*/Person

The Whistler Peak Challenge is an exciting guided alpine adventure to the Peak of Whistler Mountain. This half day tour includes a little hiking, some scrambling, and basic mountaineering techniques.

The Whistler Peak Challenge is scrambling while roped on beautifully featured rock and a terraced ridge right underneath the Peak Chair on Whistler. You do not need to be an experienced climber or mountaineer to tackle this climb. If you have done the Whistler Via Ferrata and are ready for the next challenge, this is it!

We provide all the equipment needed including harness, helmet, ropes, and hiking boots if you need them. No experience is needed and a moderate level of fitness is suggested.

  • Duration: Half day.

  • Ability: Beginner.

  • Fitness: Good. 

  • Prerequisites: Basic hiking.

Blackcomb Peak Ascent

SINGLE PERSON: $749* / 2 PEOPLE: $399*/Person

Hire a professional guide for an exciting ascent of Blackcomb Peak via the classic Blackcomb Buttress route. We use the Whistler Blackcomb gondolas to start the tour & then hike and scramble to the base of the peak.

The Blackcomb Peak Buttress provides a mix of scrambling, and low fifth class roped climbing with short cruxes on beautifully featured rock and generous ledges for belays. You do not need to be an experienced rock climber or mountaineer to take on this climb.

It’s an excellent one-day activity to round out your summer visit to Whistler.

  • Dates: Offered daily from June to September.

  • Duration: 8 hours (round trip from Whistler village).

  • Difficulty: moderate - difficult.

  • Fitness: Good. 

  • Note: Peak to Peak Gondola tickets are not included in the price and must be purchased prior to the tour.
